Seamus Collins
Managing Director and Founder
Seamus Collins has led Velopi since he founded the company in 2007. He has developed Velopi into the internationally recognised specialist in Project Management that’s helped hundreds of companies accelerate their growth.
Velopi’s success is based on Seamus’s core philosophy of listening to our Clients, helping them deliver their best business results through best practice project management and high performing teams, supported by accessibility to Velopi’s help – either using technology or in person – whenever and wherever our Clients need.
Seamus is on the frontline of Project Management both as a practitioner and as a thought leader, expanding the limits of what our Clients can achieve and frequently speaking at industry and professional conferences. Seamus has worked globally in a variety of executive roles over the past 24 years. These roles ranged from technical positions in key customer deployments to senior management positions, managing geographically dispersed teams. Seamus has successfully completed assignments in China, Argentina, Israel, Malaysia, UK and USA.
A graduate of University College Cork, Ireland, Seamus holds an honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He holds PMP®, PgMP, PMI-SP certification, an MBA from Alliance Business School at the University of Manchester and an NUI qualification in Training and Continuing Education.

Claire Scanlon
Managing Director
Claire’s career has spanned Sales, Business Development, Strategy, Finance, Account Management, Training and Coaching, Relationship Management, Team Building and Team Success. She helps clients and colleagues build a vision of the future, and then helps them turn that vision into a reality.
By nature, She is positive, determined, decisive action orientated. She also believes in having fun…. which is very important if one is to succeed in life and forge strong lasting, memorable business partnerships. She continuously looks for ways to bring excellence to strategies, systems and procedures. Delivering high quality customer service runs through all aspects of her work.

John Farrell
Senior Training Consultant
A Senior Training Consultant, John Farrell has a proven track record of delivering training and analysing training needs of project management training and consultancy to a range of companies across the IT, Telecommunications, Finance and Life Science sectors.
An excellent communicator with an engaging teaching style and flexible approach to training, John is passionate about creating a learning environment that supports the unique needs of each learner to realise their potential.
As a Project Management professional, John has worked globally in a variety of roles over the past 30+ years with many companies worldwide, most notably the International Stock Exchange and Ericsson, successfully delivering international assignments in Stockholm, London, Dubai, Aachen. These roles ranged from technical positions in key customer deployments to senior management positions, managing virtual geographically dispersed teams, from both low and high cost centres, across multiple cultures and time-zones.
A business graduate from the Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT), John holds PMP® certification and is certifed in Agile project management methodologies as both a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) and Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®). John also holds a FETAC qualification in Training & Development.

Sylvie Kenneally
Client Support Manager
Sylvie and her team work to ensure you have a smooth learning experience with Velopi. From project planning and scheduling to digital learning and materials through to gathering feedback and everything in-between, Sylvie’s focus is to keep you on track and ensure all of your training needs are met when you need.

Roisín Treacy
Commercial & Finance Manager
Roisín leads all elements of the Velopi’s finance organization, including finance, accounting, and tax. She is committed to delivering value to our customers first while maintaining a strong data-driven approach to the strategic business management of Velopi.
